The Wrap Maternity Dress
Summer is packed full of long hot days and with your body temperature rising and increasing pregnancy weight gain, you will want to cool off in something easy to wear and very comfortable. In terms of easy to fit and timelessly stylish, there is nothing better than your basic wrap maternity dress. Japanese Weekend makes a classic Short Sleeve Collar Maternity Dress in both a solid navy and black in a jersey fabric.

This dress can easily transition from the office to out to dinner or can be worn as a casual weekend dress. Another great wrap dress is JKU's short sleeve Wrap Maternity Dress. This versatile V neck wrap maternity dress is similar to Japanese Weekend's, only minus the collar and with an adjustable front tie. JKU's Wrap Maternity Dress comes in a beautiful dusk blue solid color in a super soft and stretchy Rayon/Spandex blend.

The Maternity Sundress
There is no better time to buy an awesome sundress than when you are expecting. Sundresses are so easy to wear and allow you to bask in the sun without sweltering in the heat. The Maternal America Embroidered Dress in cool mint is an understated yet beautiful sundress that can be worn for everyday casual or for a special occasion.

This dress hangs beautifully on your figure and does not wrinkle. The garment dyed mint color is accented by floral embroidery throughout and the ruffle detail allows a casual elegance and effortless beauty that is only enhanced by your pregnancy. On a similar theme, Juliet Dream's Embroidered Maternity Dress is a versatile lightweight cotton paisley pattern sundress. This dress has that casual summer sundress feel with adjustable tie shoulder spaghetti straps, tube smocking and ruffle hem which hits a bit above the ankle. This is another great example of a maternity dress that be worn extremely casual or even to a wedding.

The Transition Maternity/Nursing Dress
If you are due during the summer and hope to get more mileage out of your summer maternity dress investment, choosing a dress that can be worn during and after your pregnancy is a good idea.

Majamas, a label that specializes in nursing and transition fashions, has a number of great choices. Their Praline Maternity/Nursing Dress does not look like a maternity or nursing dress but is designed for both. This dress has a fun kaleidoscope pattern with a stylish black accent band above the hem. The pretty cap sleeve with V neck style is flirty and cool for summer and the front cross over design easily doubles as a nursing dress. It's stretchy rayon/poly/lycra blend will stretch with you during your pregnancy and spring back into place for wear after you have your baby.

The Sleepy Nursing Dress is another great transition wear dress by Majamas. This dress has been around for years and is a favorite for expecting and new moms everywhere. The Sleepy Dress is a tank style dress, with built in bust support which is also nursing bra friendly.

This dress features a cross over front design for nursing and the hem hits just above the knee. This dress can be worn casually or accessorized for a more formal occasion. The cotton/lycra blend allows this dress plenty of stretch so that it can also be worn during pregnancy. The Sleepy Nursing Dress is such a popular dress that it comes in many different colors and patterns including a beautiful merlot and twilight as well as classic black.

Maternity Fashion: Right Maternity Sleepwear

Not sure you are one of them?? Let check it out!

Plenty of pregnant women spend a long time planning their maternity wardrobes - for example, evening wear, pregnancy dresses, workwear.
However, they often focus entirely on their daywear options and forget all about nightwear until suddenly they can no longer struggle into their pre-pregnancy pyjamas and are left to spend the remainder of their pregnancy sleeping in uncomfortable oversize t-shirts.

I think that it's time to put sleepwear first. While there's no easy way to get a good night's sleep when you are pregnant, high quality and comfortable clothing will help you relax a bit more while adding style to your maternity lounge wear wardrobe. Most maternity night wear is made with nursing access for wearing after you've had your baby and makes for a very good long-term investment. Here we go:

Size: Just like the rest of your maternity wardrobe, pyjamas and maternity nighties should be bought in your pre-pregnancy size unless you have gained more than the average 25-35 pounds. Also, if you are expecting twins or more, you will need to increase your size (or two!).

Comfort: Many pregnant women have trouble sleeping at some point during their pregnancy. While there in't anything you can do about an energetic baby who likes to dance throughout the night, or the early days when you seem to be always taking trips to the bathroom, you can choose to buy nightclothes with comfort in mind, so it's not your clothing which is giving you sleepless nights!

Jersey cotton is a great fabric for comfort and also for pyjamas which can be worn as loungewear for padding around the house to relax in. Personally I prefer to wear maternity pyjamas because of their double use afterwards and as they are cozier to wear during the night in colder months if you are up and about. Watch out too for tops with built in support for extra ease - some styles use built-in cups and others a fabric "shelf" both work well.

Multi-purpose: Maternity nightwear is intended to be used after birth and is constructed to allow for easy nighttime feeding through the use of clever designing. Look out for clever cross-over style pyjama tops. Another option is to choose button through tops which also give fast access.

Style: Forget the unfashionable nightclothes of yesteryear, modern maternity sleepwear adds style to comfort and is available in some beautiful patterns.

So, to sum up, look for maternity night wear in comfortable fabric designed for use after the birth. Remember if you select pyjamas, they make good casual wear choices too. But don't forget to buy a style you adore!

Most of today's maternity clothes are design to give you that extra room you need and welcome as you get bigger. One mistake that many people make is by getting bigger sizes. These clothes already have the bust and belly factored in so the same sizes you wear now will work as you get further along. Sweaters have been very popular choices among pregnant women as they accent your curves and make you look fashionable even in the state you are in.

Maternity Fashion: Maternity Fashion Trend

Becoming pregnant means that everything in your life changes, especially your body. So when your body changes then obviously what you wear on your body must change as well. Just because you have to change your wardrobe, does not mean you have to sacrifice fashion and looking good.

Especially in these modern times as pregnant women are viewed as beautiful and even hip. Pregnant women do have different rules than others though. It is important that they stay more modest than maybe they normally would. This is because revealing clothes on a pregnant woman is not attractive and is in fact very unbecoming of them.
Pregnant women can still go for the sexy look, but it needs to be in a different way than with revealing and tight-fitting clothes. Exposing your pregnant belly is most of the time not considered a fashionable look. In fact, some view it as inappropriate. This means that you will need to find maternity t shirts and other clothes that are long enough to go around that beautiful new pregnant belly.

I think most pregnant women care more about being comfortable than fashionable. However, you do not have to give up one for the other. For example, maternity t shirts are a very convenient way to stay comfortable and fashionable. There are many stylish maternity t shirts online that do not necessarily have to be an XXL non maternity t shirt.

The regular style of t shirts that are small and fitted have to be adjusted to cover a pregnant belly. This is why there are so many maternity t shirts available online. They have longer fronts so that the rest of the shirt fits your body and your stomach is covered.

Sometimes, it is not necessary to buy clothes made specifically for pregnant people. You could purchase a dress made out of stretchy material that would work just fine.
Additionally, you may be able to add certain pieces to the outfits you already have to make them appropriate. For example, maybe you have a favorite t shirt that does not quite fit but you do not want to buy a maternity t shirt. You could get a cardigan to throw over it to cover up the parts that do not fit but still be able to show off the design of the shirt.

All it takes is a little bit of creativity to keep yourself looking fashionable and hip throughout your pregnancy.

Maternity Fashion: Age Of Designer Maternity Clothes

While in decades past women were supposed to hide while they were in their "delicate state", those days are far behind us. Many designers have come to the forefront introducing fashionable maternity lines for mothers to be. While it may take a little work, finding the right clothing to show your personal style and your baby bump won't be hard to do.

Pregnancy has now become a celebration of life and a reason to rejoice, and the baby bump has all but become the latest fashion. Just flipping on the television or a magazine shows celebrities in all of their pregnant glory showing off their latest production: baby. These stars manage to keep their own personal style and wear the latest fashions while they're eight and nine months pregnant! The frumpy soon-to-be mommy is a thing of the past and the trendy momma is out and about!

Designers have recognized the demand for stylish maternity lines and they've fit the bill with stylish cuts, flattering fits, and the latest styles of the season. Looking this good during pregnancy can come with a hefty price tag though; the key is moderation. Outfitting your new maternity wardrobe with the latest trend isn't always a good idea, but accessorizing with it is. Keep the heftier pieces in neutral colors such as black, brown or beige, and accessorize with a pop of color or texture in a bag or shoe to cut down expenses while still keeping trendy.

While shopping for maternity fashion can be a headache, knowing the right places to look is a good start. Many designers offer their maternity lines exclusively online, so start clicking. There have also been a number of maternity boutiques that have popped up in recent years catering only to the expectant mommy. These retailers often have great sale racks too, so dive in and start looking for a bargain.

There are also a number of retailers offering great and fashionable maternity lines for a fraction of the cost of the top name designers. Check out your favorite pre-pregnancy store and you might be surprised to find an extensive maternity line to accentuate the baby bump. The most important thing to do during this time is to stay patient and never be ashamed of the growing belly; pregnancy is a celebration of life and while shopping for trendy maternity wear may seem like a daunting task at first, there's never been a better time to look great with a bun in the oven!
