Maternity Fashion - Fallen from Bed!

My son has fallen from my bed 3TIMES within 1mth!!! I was felling so bad and worried! What should I do??

Friend, do you know there is something call the mattress which can be placed on the floor? I felt frustrated when listen to this! Do you know there is more you can do? Safety 1st selling those bed rail...

It's was harsh here but no point blaming too much as it past. No one wishes their babies to fall. And NO ONE can stop babies from falling. ALL children fall at one point even when they know how to walk. And they grew up knocking their heads even more.... If they dun have fall,s they will never learn how to prevent themselves from getting worst injuries..ie break fall.

Not much to worry if nothing unusual happened. Baby by nature is active and luv kicking. Of course as parent have to be more careful when your little started to turn over their little bodies. Note that being overprotective is not good for our children's growth, coz they will be scared to explore next time. we also cannot relax , still need to keep an eye on them, and minimise the extent of falling.

I think no one should leave a baby on a bed unattended, not even for a few seconds, especially when he can roll. If you absolutely must do so, then you should put mattresses and pillows around the bed. No point putting a lot of pillows on the bed, baby can easily push them away or climb over them.

Finally, And yes, my bb fell from the bed before and I put the mattress on the floor, with pillows and bolsters around him. Bed rails didn't work 'cos soon after at about 6-7 months, he started to crawl, and wanted to CRAWL OVER the bed rail! We caught him a few times, hence the decision to put the mattress on the floor. Safest and in the long run, the cheapest option.

How about yours??
